Bethulie
concentration camp
Many Boer women and children who where brought to the
Bethulie concentration camp, died there. While the "scorched earth"
policy was followed by the British Empire on the farms and homes of
the Boers, many war victims, children, aged and women died of cold,
thirst and hunger.
